Gallery: S1 expressway on the Przybędza-Milówka section

The construction of the S1 expressway on the Przybędza-Milówka section is a very important investment.

Thanks to it, drivers will bypass the mountain towns of Węgierska Górka and Milówka. There are four lines of two tunnels to be drilled in the mountain massif. Tunnels are being built under the Biażyński Groń massif and under Barania Góra. Objects are drilled into the so-called new Austrian tunneling method (NATM). The tunnels will be 830 and almost 1,000 meters long.

Currently, the tunnels have already been drilled, but construction work is still ongoing. The Primatess PVC tunnel waterproofing system was used: a geosynthetic PVC membrane, expansion tape (waterstop) and fastening disks.
